Healthcare
Medical affordability is a major challenge to lot of people. It’s been said that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation. Independent India has taken huge strides in improving public health. Yet, quality healthcare is outside the reach of several thousands. For a country with half its population is under the age of 25, our Immunization coverage is just under 62%. Budgetary allocation towards public health is still under 1.5% of our GDP, much under the WHO limit of 5 %, leaving the majority vulnerable. While rural india is still left wanting for more healthcare outlets, the primary cause of urban poor’s suffering seems to be a lack of education and awareness and the inability to afford private healthcare. We at Sabari Balaji Eduactional and Charity trust believe in lending a hand to the noble warriors already fighting the cause through activities such as
- Conduct Blood donation camps
- Organizing blood donors to patients for blood disorders on regular basis or for emergency surgeries
- Provide Medical aid for underprivileged
- Conduct Medical Camps
- Organize Medical awareness programs
